Peter Philippson

Peter has worked as a psychotherapist for 36 years. He is a former president of the International Association for the Advancement of Gestalt Therapy. Peter is the author of the books ‘Self in Relation’, pub. Gestalt Journal Press, ‘The Emergent Self’ published by Karnac/UKCP, ‘Gestalt Therapy: Roots and Branches’ pub. Karnac and ‘The ‘Active Principle’ in Gestalt Therapy and Other Essays’ and many other chapters and articles.

John Gillespie

John is a qualified gestalt practitioner and psychotherapist (MA Gestalt Therapy/Diploma in Counselling). He is the founder and chief executive of New Gestalt Voices. He has extensive experience of working with people struggling with early life trauma, loneliness, shame, addictions, relationship difficulties, anxiety/depression, gender/sexuality, grief and life purpose questions.

Rafael Cortina

As a bilingual therapist (English-Spanish), he has worked in Mexico and the United States. He has over 20 years of experience working with individuals, couples, families and groups. He holds a master’s degree in psychology in counselling and a master’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing. He completed his studies at National University in San Diego. He is currently an adjunct faculty member at National University and an editor/board member of the International Association of Advancement in Gestalt Therapy. He has extensive experience working with individuals with mood and anxiety disorders, addictions, grief and loss, dual diagnosis, trauma work, LGBTQ+, HIV/AIDS counselling, sleep work, couples therapy and Gestalt-oriented psychotherapy.
