This is a unique moment to join a group of people who want not only to develop professionally, but also to experience a fascinating journey into themselves and learn about the unique world of Gestalt psychotherapy.

Why become a psychotherapist? How can the Gestalt Development Year become the beginning of a unique professional and personal path?

In today’s world, more and more people are choosing to develop into psychotherapy, wanting to help others cope with life’s hardships, emotional challenges and find their way to inner balance. The profession of psychotherapist not only offers the opportunity to support others, but also provides a unique path for personal growth, self-discovery and deepening of one’s awareness. For many people, the first step on this path is to participate in the Gestalt Development Year, which not only introduces you to the world of psychotherapy, but also allows you to experience a profound inner transformation, and although both November groups of the Development Year have already been assembled, we are opening up the opportunity for you to participate in the recruitment for the February edition and we can’t wait to start classes.

1. psychotherapy – a profession with a mission and a passion

Becoming a psychotherapist is more than a career choice – it’s a life mission. As a therapist, you accompany people in their most difficult moments, support them in discovering the truth about themselves, teach them to cope with pain, loss, anxiety or lack of meaning. You help them build healthy relationships with others and with themselves. In an era of growing awareness of mental health, the role of the psychotherapist is invaluable. It’s a challenging profession, but also one of great satisfaction when you see your clients make progress, find solutions to their problems and regain hope.

The 2nd Gestalt Development Year – the ideal start to a therapeutic journey

Many future psychotherapists begin their journey with the Gestalt Development Year. This is a unique year in which participants have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the fascinating philosophy and practice of Gestalt, developing both therapeutic skills and personal competencies.

The Development Year is first and foremost an opportunity to get to know themselves in a new way. Participants, taking part in interpersonal training and psycho-educational workshops, experience how relationships and interactions with others can affect their lives, emotions and decisions. Understanding how we function in a group, how we react to difficult situations, how we communicate with others – these are skills that are crucial not only for psychotherapists, but also in everyday life.

3 The adventure of personal growth and community

The Development Year is not just about learning psychotherapeutic techniques and theories. It’s also an adventure of self-discovery and being in a supportive group of people who, like you, are on the path of development. Participants form a unique community – they exchange experiences, support each other in difficulties and enjoy shared successes.

Being part of such a group is an amazing experience. The moments experienced together, both the joyous ones and the more difficult ones, build bonds that often last for years. The group becomes a space where you can safely experiment with new ways of being, share your fears and hopes, and develop the skills needed for therapeutic work.

4. personal development at a deep level

Participation in the Development Year is not only about learning, but also about deep personal transformation. Gestalt emphasizes authenticity and being fully present in the here and now. During the class, participants learn how to be fully present for themselves and others. This process helps not only to develop therapeutic skills, but also to understand and deepen one’s relationship with oneself.

5. why choose Gestalt?

Gestalt is a therapeutic approach that puts people at the center – with their unique experiences, emotions and needs. Gestalt teaches how to accept who we are instead of trying to change ourselves by force. What is important in Gestalt therapeutic work is relationship, contact and full presence – both of the therapist and the client.

The Gestalt approach is also about working with the irreversible and inevitable in life – loss, suffering, but also joy and growth. The Developmental Year allows you to understand these processes in theory, but most importantly to experience them firsthand, which makes the learning even more profound and authentic.

For those who are thinking about starting a career as a psychotherapist, the Development Year at the Lodz Gestalt School is an excellent opportunity to invest in yourself, broaden your horizons and take the first steps on this unique professional and personal path.

Don’t wait!
