Gestalt therapeutic training for men. How to be yourself as a man – also in your relationship with other men?
“Gestalt therapeutic training for men – about being yourself in the richness of diversity” is five days of intensive group work, experience and encounter with what often remains unspoken.
During the training, we will look at male introjects and messages that many of us have carried for years:
“advise yourself,” “don’t show emotions,” “be strong,” “be effective.”
We will examine how they affect relationships, the way we work therapeutically, getting in touch with our own needs and the possibilities of being authentically ourselves.
It’s a space to explore the differences between us – in the ways we experience, communicate, build support and group presence. Not through theory detached from life, but through experience: gestalt experiments, individual and group work, movement, reflection, silence and contact.
The training is aimed at therapists, counsellors, coaches, trainers and Gestalt students who want to deepen their understanding of themselves as men and people who work with other people.
The training will be led by:
– Marten Bos – certified Gestalt psychotherapist, supervisor and trainer of the Dutch Gestalt Institute
– KamiL Torczewski – certified Gestalt psychotherapist, working mainly with men for years
