🧡 ŁSG Newsletter – November – between memory and presence

November is a time of silence and attentiveness. A time when we naturally turn to memories – but also to what is still ongoing and what is just beginning. Between memory and presence is the space of encounter: with the other, with each other, with what is alive.

At the Lodz Gestalt School, this month brings many opportunities to reflect, learn and be together.
We invite you to see what will happen in November.

🕯 November 1 – All Saints’ Day

A day that reminds us of ties that last despite the passage of time.
In Gestalt, we say that what is closed can quietly pass away – and what is still alive demands contact and care.

🌍 November 3-6 – workshop for migrants organized by Lena Grigorieva and Hans Petter Frydenberg of the Norwegian Gestalt Institute

A unique workshop for people from Belarus and Ukraine experiencing migration and living between worlds is taking place within the walls of the Lodz Gestalt School.

The workshop is on the topic: Supervision: Field Relational Paradigm.
It is a meeting full of warmth, support and dialogue – an experience of community across borders.

💬 November 5 – Support group “Towards life – not just around loss”

See details “
Regular meetings for people who have experienced loss, but also those who simply want to learn how to be closer to life – even where emptiness has occurred.

🌿 November 9 – completion of the 10th edition of the Development Year (E10RR)

Ten months of walking, talking, learning and self-discovery together.
Congratulations to the participants on completing the Development Year and thank you for your presence, courage and confidence.

🇵🇱 November 11 – Independence Day

Freedom in Gestalt is understood not only as independence, but as the ability to choose – to be oneself in relationship with others.

🌸 November 14-16 – Margaret Cynker’s workshop “Being Present in Suffering. Loss, Mourning, and Hope in the Context of Working with Terminally/Permanently Ill Patients and Their Families.”

See details “
Meeting the topic of loss and mourning, which sooner or later affects everyone. During the workshop, Gosia explains how to deal with loss in the spirit of Gestalt: not to “fix” something, but to learn to be in touch with what hurts, but also what grows.

🤝 November 16 – International Day of Tolerance

A reminder that diversity is a richness, not a hindrance. From the beginning, Gestalt has been an approach of encounter and dialogue – a place where “I” and “you” can be different and yet remain in contact.

💻 November 17 – first of the webinars with Lynne Jacobs: “Therapy in Dialogue”.

See details “
This event is organized by New Gestalt Voices and Mindspace Tomasz Ryłek.
Lynne Jacobs – one of the most important figures in contemporary Gestalt – will lead a series of four online meetings.

🌱 November 27 – the start of “zero” E15RR

See details “
The first convention of the next edition of Development Year. This is an ideal place for people who would like to find out what Gestalt is – that it is a way of living, contacting and understanding oneself.
👉 You can still sign up!

📚 November 29 – start of the 3rd edition of the Doctrine of Psychology

See details “
Program prepared for people who want to start learning psychotherapy, but are not trained as psychologists. The doctrine is a solid foundation, needed to move on in further education.
Led by Danuta Brzezinska and Tomasz Waleczko.

New products in the workshop offer of ŁSG

In November, two new workshops led by female trainers from ŁSG were added to our offerings:

Each is an opportunity to deepen our understanding of ourselves and our own experiences with others.

November reminds us that the light is still there – even if it comes from within. It is a month of meetings, gratitude and reflection. Also about the fact that memory and presence are not mutually exclusive – they are like two breaths of the same life.

Thank you for being with us.
