Dan Bloom (USA) speaker on Gestalt Conference for Psychology and Psychotherapy Practitioners | On-line 16th march 2024
We are pleased to introduce you the world-known gestalt philosopher, really brave and great person, with open heart and open mind – therapist, lecturer and writer Dan Bloom.
Dan is a fellow and current president of the New York Institute for Gestalt Therapy as well as a former president of the International Association for the Advancement of Gestalt Therapy. Dan’s writings have been translated into 7 languages and published widely.
Dan is referring us to Greek mythology within his speech “Blood on our Soil: Antaeus, the earth, and homeland“. This speech is an interdisciplinary journey across the very deep existential issues such as:
- How is it possible for us to still experience the earth underour feet — feet which shuffle through the debris of our present, past, and future?
- How can we re-configure homelands out of the destruction of our personal worlds?
Throughout the gestalt phenomenological lens Dan brings us to the awareness that contacting is unstoppable, that we dwell alongside one another no matter where and no matter how we are.
To dwell is to live on the basis of the contact-boundary of a world that transcends
experience itself.
Join our conference and you enjoy the travel by deeply existential airlines!
