Gestalt workshop with Jan Roubal: How much process, how much education, or how to teach Gestalt when working with groups?
Jan Roubal – a psychotherapist, supervisor and psychiatrist who has been involved in the development of the training and supervision environment in Europe for many years – will lead a workshop at the Lodz School of Gestalt Psychotherapy dedicated to those in coaching and supervising roles.
The Gestalt Workshop with Jan Roubal is a unique offering for those who serve as a trainer, coach, supervisor or supervisee in the Gestalt community – both in training and accompanying the development process of others. The workshop focuses on the practical and theoretical aspects of conducting supervision and supporting the development of others’ competence.
During the meeting, participants will have the opportunity:
- look at one’s own style of conducting supervision and how it affects the process of those being conducted,
- explore the challenges that arise in superintendent and educational practice,
- focus attention on the quality of contact and the relational aspects of accompaniment in development,
- relate the experience of their own work to a broad theoretical and procedural context.
The workshop is practical and reflective in nature – it combines elements of group work, discussion, analysis of one’s own cases and working with experience in the here and now. It is a space where supervisors and trainers can both expand their professional awareness and exchange experience with other practitioners.
The invitation is addressed to those who already serve as Gestalt trainers, coaches, supervisors and supervisors, as well as those who are preparing to work in these functions and wish to develop their competence in a responsible and conscious manner.
