Jan Roubal is a Czech psychotherapist, supervisor, psychiatrist, and researcher who is one of the key figures of the contemporary Gestalt movement in Europe and worldwide. His work focuses on integrating traditional clinical (psychiatric) knowledge with a humanistic and relational therapeutic approach.
Jan Roubal lectures at Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic. He founded and chairs the Training in Gestalt Therapy school. He is the author of numerous publications, including the co-authored book “Gestalt Therapy in Clinical Practice: From Psychopathology to the Aesthetics of Contact,” published in several languages (Polish edition: Harmonia Universalis, 2016).
